Crown Act Signed Into Law in Texas

The legislation, which bans race-based hair discrimination, will go into effect in September.

Gov. Greg Abbott has signed the Crown Act into law in The Lone Star state, prohibiting race-based hair discrimination in Texas workplaces, schools and housing policies.    The policy goes into effect on September 1.   Democratic Rep.
